Health care professionals invest many, many, many hours in being educated about how a human body functions. The information becomes deeply ingrained into the health care professional’s knowledge base and is in a format which makes the information difficult to share with our patients. When we try to share the information with our patients, we tend to deliver the information in a hard to understand format and there is so much information to present.

Over 80% of TMJ/TMD symptoms are unknowingly SELF-INFLICTED and over 70% of all HEADACHES are also unknowingly SELF-INFLICTED. When I had time in my practice I would take 45 minutes to properly education a patient about SELF-INFLICTED HEADACHES. My “TMD Talk” took me 15 years to organize. First, I invested the time necessary to understand the evaluation and care of TMJ/TMD and SELF-INFLICTED HEADACHES. Secondly, I put the information together in an easy to understand AND remember format. As I became busier, a staff member learned my “TMD Talk" so I could do other work while the patient was receiving the EDUCATION they needed to understand TMJ/TMD and SELF-INFLICTED HEADACHES. Cost of the DVD

An initial comprehensive TMD evaluation fee, the complete appointment including x-rays, is anywhere between $400 and $800--and then there is the fee for the actual treatment.
